DEFEATED SANITY has pushed the edge of metal for about 30 years. Their upcoming seventh album still rings from every strange angle, but in the “Chronicles of Lunacy,” these technical maniacs return to absolute brutality.
“The last DEFEATED SANITY albums tended a lot to the most progg side of our sound”, says the band’s drummer and founding member Lille Gruber. “We still like to experiment, but in our new album we wanted to return to the raw pounding that our fans love at the ‘Psalms of the Moribund’ or the ‘Chapters of Repugnance.’
“Chronicles of Lunacy” will be released on November 22nd via Season of Mist.
