DEICIDE release new video “Bury The Cross… With Your Christ”

DEICIDE "BURY THE CROSS...WITH YOUR CHRIST"

Death metal legends DEICIDE shatter the tranquility of the holiday season with the release of a fierce new track, “Bury The Cross… With Your Christ”, in collaboration with Reigning Phoenix Music.

Underlining their unwavering commitment to the genre, DEICIDE offers a brutal departure from the traditional Christmas ambiance, capturing the sacrilegious essence in a visually striking music video.

Glen Benton sets the tone with a provocative declaration: “Welcome to the Festival of Fools! Bow before your Almighty Lord, for the end of us all is at hand…cover the cross.”

The track, conceived in the depths of Smoke & Mirrors, establishes DEICIDE’s production prowess, with Jeramie Kling ensuring a seamless recording process complemented by Taylor Nordberg’s contributions.

Mixing and mastering duties were expertly handled by Josh Wilbur.

The accompanying video is a masterful collaboration, directed by David Brodsky (My Good Eye: Music Visuals), who also took charge of camera work, editing, graphics, and subsequent special effects. Allison Woest served as a producer, co-director, and collaborator, while Kelly Harris applied special effects makeup.

Gerard Barscheski’s portrayal of the despairing father adds a gripping human element to the end result. The blasphemous track, a preview of DEICIDE’s forthcoming album “Banished By Sin”, scheduled for release in 2024, heightens anticipation for the band’s unrelenting supremacy in the infernal realms of death metal.

Adding to the excitement, DEICIDE is set to headline the upcoming Decibel Metal & Beer Fest, focusing their setlist on early ’90s albums, including the resurrection of demons from milestones such as “Deicide,” “Legion,” and “Once Upon The Cross.”
