New York’s brutal death metal horde DISSONANT SEEPAGE are set to return with Dystopian Putrescence, their second full-length offering, dropping June 6, 2025 through the underground sickness merchants at Comatose Music.
Following the crushing 2023 debut The Darkness Will Swallow You Whole, the trio now descend even deeper into the sewer with a record carved from rot, decay, and sheer sonic violence.
The album’s first single, “Ancient Pestilence Reborn,” opens the gates to a festering realm of suffocating riffage, unrelenting blasts, and guttural torment. Tracks like “Immortal Until Decay” and “Rotting Monument” unravel like fevered hallucinations, ripping through the psyche with wormlike groove and shifting nightmare atmosphere. The final title track, “Dystopian Putrescence,” erupts as a cataclysm of blast-driven filth and writhing riffs—ensuring that the album closes with maximum damage and no chance of recovery.
Recorded, mixed, and mastered at Atrium Audio (AUGUST BURNS RED, RIVERS OF NIHIL), the album boasts a dense, suffocating production that captures the stench of total collapse.
