DECAYING PURITY was founded in 2005 and BURIAL INVOCATION in 2008. Both bands are from Turkey, and both delegated two members each to form the band ENGULFED in 2010.
The quartet from Istanbul, perhaps due to their other commitments, has been quite reserved with releases. To date, they have released two EPs and one full-length album. The debut album, Engulfed in Obscurity, was released in 2017. It’s about time for the second full-length.
“Unearthly Litanies of Despair” is released for Me Saco Un Ojo / Dark Descent records.
