After a prolonged series of delays resulting in a 12-year gap since their last full-length release, the legendary Brazilian death metal band HEADHUNTER D.C. has entered the studio to record their highly anticipated new album.
Tentatively titled “Rise of the Damned… – In Death Metal We Trust”, the follow-up to “…In Unholy Mourning…” (2012) will be recorded in Salvador, Bahia. The album promises an even heavier and more violent approach, staying true to the band’s death metal roots.
Frontman Sérgio “Nekrobaloff666” Borges shared his excitement:
“Expect a more direct, ‘in-your-face’ HEADHUNTER D.C., while retaining the signature elements of profane brutality, dense atmospheres, and necro-heretical poetry that define our sound. Unholy Death Cult Metal, 666% guaranteed! The rise of the damned has only just begun!”
The tracklist and other details will be revealed soon.
