After storming the scene with hyper-blast live shows and their debut release “Punishment Without Mercy”, UK death metal act IMPURIST returns with a new EP, “Evolving Cortex”.
Featuring former and current members of GOREROTTED, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, HELLBASTARD, WINTERFYLLETH, and more, the band delivers a raw and relentless dose of death metal, pushing their sound further into darkness and intensity.
The EP was recorded by Collis at Gorilla Studios, Hull, UK in September 2024 and mixed and mastered by Shaun “Chaotic” Black at DigitalDemonForge. The visual aspect of the release includes a logo and sigil designed by @wibusuckartworklogo, while the cover art, layout, and design were handled by Josh Brown at AN_Aesthetic.
With “Evolving Cortex”, IMPURIST continues to carve their path in the underground, offering an uncompromising sonic assault. More details on the release date and availability will be announced soon.
