Swedish crust/death metal wrecking crew INDUSTRIAL PUKE is back with their second album, “Alive To No Avail”, delivering an even more vicious and uncompromising attack on our eardrums.
Recorded at Studio Soundport with producer Mikael Andersson, this album sharpens the crust and death metal edges while expanding the band’s sonic reach. The result? Twelve tracks of pure aggression that exceed even their own expectations.
Driven by raw intensity, “Alive To No Avail” is an album that refuses to leave listeners indifferent – it’s designed to pull them out of the monotony of everyday life and offer a brutal outlet for frustration and bottled-up rage.
This release follows their critically acclaimed 2023 debut, “Born Into the Twisting Rope”, which Suicide Records unleashed as a short yet devastating blend of death metal, hardcore, and crust punk. With “Alive To No Avail”, INDUSTRIAL PUKE raises the bar even higher, delivering an even sharper yet equally relentless sonic assault – perfect for fans of SLAYER, DISRUPT, ENTOMBED, NAPALM DEATH, and SKITSYSTEM.
The band’s journey began in 2017 when Jens Ekelin (RENTOKILLER) gathered a group of like-minded musicians obsessed with the sound of DISRUPT. Soon, Linus Jägerskog (BURST) and Marko Partanen (RENTOKILLER) joined the ranks, igniting the first spark of INDUSTRIAL PUKE. After a period of songwriting and lineup solidification, Mattias Rasmusson (OBSTRUKTION/BLESSINGS/GUST) and Erik Harald (RENTOKILLER) completed the unit, leading to the release of their explosive first single, “Mental Taxation”, in June 2022. That first strike caught the attention of Suicide Records, paving the way for their EP “Where Life Crisis Starts” in September of the same year.
Now, INDUSTRIAL PUKE isn’t just continuing down the path they paved—they’re crushing it under the weight of their savage sound.
