INTOLERANCE, Spanish death metal squad, are streaming their highly anticipated second album, “Waking Nightmares of an Endless Void”.
Set for international release on July 22nd, with Memento Mori handling the CD version and Godz ov War Productions releasing the vinyl and tape versions.
Coming from Zaragoza, INTOLERANCE are formed in 2015 with the intent to honor the raw, timeless death metal of the late ’80s and early ’90s. Their sound is filled with the same demise and putrefaction of that era. After a demo in 2016 and an EP in 2020, they released their debut album, Dark Paths of Humanity, in 2022, showcasing their massive potential.
Now, with “Waking Nightmares of an Endless Void”, INTOLERANCE continues to uphold the classic death metal style while infusing it with their own grimy personality. This follow-up album, reminiscent of the years 1992 or ’93, adds more groove and catchiness to their relentless surge. Their influences remain strong – classic BOLT THROWER, GRAVE, ASPHYX, MORGOTH, ENTOMBED, CONVULSE, OBITUARY, and UNLEASHED – but they also touch on darker, almost-evil melodies akin to UNANIMATED, DISMEMBER, HYPOCRISY, DESULTORY, and early NECROPHOBIC.
