MONDO PODRE is a grindcore band from Galicia, a region in the northwest corner of Spain.
4 heads full with anxious and visceral energy spat on songs that mix the primitive rage from the old school with the technical prowess of modern bands without being pigeonholed in anything except the fierce speed that defines the genre.
The band was created in 2016 but it had a rough start due to geographical dispersion of their members and constant line-up changes.
After the pandemic they manage to reunite to record their first LP, Necronomía de Subexistencia (2022) and take back the stages stronger than ever.
Currently they’re preparing the release of their upcoming EP, Nadie al Volante, which will be released on CD and vinyl on February, the 2nd by Romantic Songs Records, Base Records and Cara Brécol (Spain); MinoR_ObscuR and Aktiver Ausstand in Plastik (Germany), Throne of Lies (USA), Wrongdisk Records (Italy), Nieroby Records (Poland) and Enfermo Distro (Portugal).
Digipack will be released by Romantic Songs Records.
Nadie al Volante is 12 minutes of whirldwind grind influenced by old school legends BRUTAL TRUTH, PIG DESTROYER, DISCORDANCE AXIS… It includes six original songs and CRYPTOPSY cover (Gravaged (A Cryptopsy)) played faster than the original.
