The death metal band VANHELGD has released a second track, “Kerernas törst,” from their album “Atropos Doctrina,” following “Kom dödens tysta ängel.”
This is the sixth album by the Swedish band, following their 2018 album “Deimos Sanktuarium.”
“Atropos Doctrina,” which, despite its Latin title, features tracks in the band’s native Swedish language, was produced by Magnus “Devo” Andersson at Endarker Studios and comes with cover artwork by guitarist and vocalist Mattias Frisk. Album is out today, July 12, 2024, via Dark Descent Records.
“ATROPOS DOCTRINA – our sixth album since the start in 2007. Six years of pandemic, crisis and war have passed since we last announced the impending doom of mankind. Much and nothing has changed. Tragedy, ecstasy and doom are still our perpetual companions and the age of man is indefatigable crawling towards the end of its path. The Moirai spun and measured your thread of life and now its in the hand of Atropos the Inflexible One…”, the band commented.
VANHELGD – “Atropos Doctrina” tracklist:
1. Saliga äro de dödfödda
2. Kom dödens tysta ängel
3. Ofredsår
4. I ovigd jord
5. Atropos Hymnarium
6. Galgdanstid
7. Kerernas törst
8. Gravjordsfrid
