SUBLIME CADAVERIC DECOMPOSITION is a French death grind band from Paris formed in 1996.
Mainly inspired by the early wave of death grind movement of the 80s and early 90s, the band quickly became known in the French underground scene by a split tape with the band INFECTED PUSSY in 1997, then in the international underground scene by the release of two split albums with Brazilian bands (split CD with ROT in 1998, and split 7” EP with LYMPHATIC PHLEGM in 2000).
The eponymous album produced by the French label Bones Brigade in March 2001 consolidated the band’s fame even in the most notorious metal press (Hard Rock magazine, Metallian, Hard N Heavy, and Legacy).
The studio album II produced by the French label Osmose Productions in 2003 was followed by a tour of more than a month over the United States.
The split 7” EP of the Slimewave GoreGrind Serie, produced in 2006 by the US label Relapse Records, then the album Inventory Of Fixtures produced in 2007 by the Czech label Bizarre Leprous Productions and finally the album Sheep ‘n’ Guns recorded in 2011, permit the band to incorporate elements of crust punk and death metal, both in the compositions, as well as in the graphics and the lyrics.
The album Raping Angels in Hell, released on the German label Animate records in 2017, was a return to the roots. Porno gore influences are back, black metal touches show up in an album where musical composition, text writing & graphic creation have been pushed to its best completion so far.
The studio album “The Macabre Voodoo Messiah of Masochism and Fetishism” was recorded in 2024 is release by the Polish label Selfmadegod Records in April 2025. The satanic porno gore lyrics follow one another on the 13 tracks of a mature album with a true vocal inventiveness, memorable guitar riffs, a bunch of drums violence with a massive and organic thick overall sound.
